Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan's third collaboration, Hawk, has already been met with early critical buzz.  Mojo Magazine hailed, “Campbell and Lanegan give themselves up to each song, creating a special, slow-burning intimacy.” While Uncut stated, “….an eloquent testament to an unlikely partnership that's only now delivering its full potential.”  Bust Magazine cited, “The record is haunting and stunning…” and Filter noted, “Third time equals more charm for Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan.”

With the high anticipation of this release, Vanguard Records is offering fans the opportunity to hear Hawk in its entirety – two weeks prior to its release date through an innovative new Facebook application. Beginning August 10th, fans can log on to Isobel Campbell's facebook page – http://www.facebook.com/IsobelCampbellMusic - and by clicking the ‘like' button unlock its thirteen tracks to stream freely on their computer. In addition, by doing so, fans will also receive the latest news on Hawk via their Facebook News Feed.

Produced by Isobel Campbell, Mark Lanegan lends his signature blues-folk growl to eight of the album's 13 tracks, while singer-songwriter Willy Mason guests on two.  James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins) appears on the track “You Won't Let Me Down Again.”  A music video for “You Won't Let me Down Again” is currently in production and Isobel & Mark's first ever U.S. tour begins October 13th in Cambridge, MA.
